### HOW TO UPGRADE ###

Please refer to usermanual: www.hdfury.com/docs/HDfuryVertex2.pdf

We always recommend resetting all settings after each update in case of any issue.
You do it with clicking both checkboxes on RESET area in webserver > config and then type RESET
or you can do it via IP/RS232 with "factoryreset" command. e.g. #vertex2 set factoryreset
or just "set factoryreset" via IP

Please don't forget that you can EXPORT your config BEFORE update and IMPORT it back AFTER update.
This way you won't have to redo any settings.

### Make sure to refresh your browser after update: CTRL + F5 or clear your browser internet cache ###

########> What's new/fixed in 0.55

1. OSD screen output when NO INPUT routed is removed from this update, this is a test update to verify if this feature is indeed behind a few recents issues reported by users.

########> What's new/fixed in 0.54

1. Added EDID #10 default with Mark Sony A1 BT2020

2. Replaced EDID #5 name with Sony A1 DCI-P3

3. Changed the way how OLED turns on with events to prevent burn-in. Now oled needs either a button press or RX signal to become active.

4. Updated OLED Menu tree and added RESET in it (full factory reset)

5. Updated OLED FADE setting so that if user tries to set 0 seconds then it convertes to the default 30sec (burn-in prevention)

########> What's new/fixed in 0.53

1. RS232 Macro workflow updated as per Manni (AVSforum power user) suggestion.
Please visit the following link for more details: https://www.avsforum.com/forum/24-digital-hi-end-projectors-3-000-usd-msrp/3038288-official-jvc-rs3000-nx9-jvc-rs2000-nx7-n7-jvc-rs1000-nx5-n5-owners-thread-892.html#post59593690

2. Added new IP commands "jvcmacroalwayshex on/off", "jvcmacroalwayshexorder before/after" and "jvcmacroalwayshexdelay 1/3/5/7/10/15/20/25"

3. No input OSD updated (should fix issue reported in some user setup)

4. Added the EARC LPCM 5.1/7.1 support (as per LG C9 latest firmware update)

########> What's new/fixed in 0.52

1. Added HDR10+ signal detection.

2. Added EDID overflow flags to the webserver EDID page.

3. Fixed no-input-osd sync issue.

4. Added instant save for EDID custom 10 to the webserver EDID page.

########> What's new/fixed in 0.50

1. Improved robustness and compatibility for downscaled formats (VSI infoframe fix)

2. Added DV/LLDV detection from OLED and Webserver

########> What's new/fixed in 0.49

1. Added new DV section with DV metadata decoder, DV datablock decoder and DV datablock creator.

2. Added new ALLM control section with force ON/OFF or follow settings available and assignable to a specific input.

########> What's new/fixed in 0.48

1. Added new OSD output in case of wrong routing or empty input routed. TX Output will now always show information about the current state via OSD on a self generated video stream.
As a result any output will always produce a valid signal as long as sink device is supported.

2. Added an OSD fade option for the new OSD output that is output when nothing is routed. (default is always active, set a timer manually if needed)

3. Modded the IR routine to ignore the phantom RC5 remote codes (that was an issue with Denon remote RX1038 from old Denon players)

4. Updated MUTE AUDIO feature (webserver > config section), some users reported mute audio would still let some audio going thru after a resync, now the lines are hard muted.

5. Added DCI 2K/4K and DCI 2K > DCI 4K upscale for TX0 and DCI 4K > DCI 2K downscale for TX1. This was mainly a studio requested feature.

6. Added 3 new Autoswitching options:
OFF (default) - Require Manual input selection
ON POWER - +5V detection similar to Vertex/Integral2 or any autoswitcher device out there.
ON SENSE - Detection is based on active video. This mode is now labeled as advanced because it might affect some sources. We believe it was the culprit behind any "blackscreen at startup issue".
The framework is based on enabling/disabling the rsense and the TMDS core clocking of inputs when an input port is not selected both of which are needed for detecting an active source.
The only way to make detection work on an unselected input is to have these forced on at all times. Unfortunately it means the rsense of inputs never toggle and this can create problems for some sources when they wakeup.
We propose to never use this autoswitch mechanism and always only prefer the +5 style coupled with CEC switching or manual input selection especially if you ever met any "blackscreen at startup issue" and want to avoid it

7. Added ALLM indicator, if present ALLM will be displayed:
on OLED RX line (and not TX !)
on Webserver > info > RX line (and not TX)
on OSD if you first go in webserver > OSD > and check "RX Video Info"

########> What's new/fixed in 0.47

1. Fixed automix video flags value that was not surviving a reboot on previous FW release.

2. Fixed monitor name when saving EDID (especially from Safarai on iphone, ipad, macbook)

3. Added DCI 2K/4K and DCI 2K > DCI 4K upscale

4. Did some small framework changes to HDP processing on TX0-TX1

########> What's new/fixed in 0.46

1. Network routines update for routers compatibility improvements.

2. Low level routines updated.

3. Added new option under webserver>CEC page which when enabled makes vertex2 scan CEC commands and when there are routing change commands (like on ATV menu-button) it will issue a command to turn on TV

4. Added static TV on/off commands via IP and webserver buttons. The rs232/IP command is "set ceccmd poweron" or "set ceccmd poweroff"

5. Added an arbitrary CEC command issue via RS232/IP. The rs232/IP command is "set ceccmd aa:bb.."

########> What's new/fixed in 0.45

########> What's new/fixed in 0.41

1. Fixed small bug in new automix system regarding BT2020 capabilities.

########> What's new/fixed in 0.40

1. Changed automix flags. Removed BT2020/3D/YCbCr/DVremove/DVLimit flags. All caps will be mixed still if present in the sink EDID

2. Removed automix algo, default is max caps at all times

3. Modified HDR10+ to force a separate HDR10+ string. Default is now OFF.

4. Modified audio flag priority so that if TX0 is selected but TV not active then TX1 is used. If TX1 is selected but not turned on then TX0 is used. If AUDIO OUT is selected but not connected, then TX0 is used if active and finally TX1 is used if TX0 is also off.

5. FULL audio flag removes DSD to save space. DSD is still mixed using TX0/TX1/AUDIO OUT normally if present

6. Added DV CUSTOM STRING flag. When CUSTOM STRING is enabled, the DV string is used as defined in the "HDR/DV" page of the webserver. This allows for full customization of the DV capabilities shown to the source device. This is for advanced users only.

7. Added Rsense, HPD and TMDS info in config export for each output connector.

8. Added RX 5V detection for each input in config export

9. Added default EDID mode detection in config export

10. Added edidoverflow information in config export

#vertex2 set osdtextstr hdfury_2019_vertex2
IP of course does not need the #vertex2 prefix and you can read back by #vertex2 get osdtextstr

########> What's new/fixed in 0.38

1. Added 1080p30 autoscale 8b preset

2. Added new config-page setting "sony android TV fix" (Setting is OFF by default, if you have Sony Android TV in your setup, you might want to turn it ON after update)

########> What's new/fixed in 0.37

1. new TCP/IP supporting more requests, current connection must be terminated before a new one does anything, now using netconn connections instead of socket telnet.

2. Fixed a condition when input is 4K50 420 and downscaled to 1080p50, Wrong VIC code was presented at the output.

It will be saved to Vertex2 and used on subsequent powerups. Tested and confirmed working on Sony eARC TV (LG C9 not responding to any change currently, work in progress)

2. ARC and EARC routines updated

3. Added HDR10+ EDID detection for SINK

4. Internal improvements.

########> What's new/fixed in 0.34

1. Updated ARC descriptor

2. Added IP INTERRUPT feature which when enabled send a ping to currently open TCP connection. (for IP control)
When its on then a change in the stream parameters will issue an "int" message on the current active IP connection.
Regarding the interrupt message on IP. It is issued after the new status is populated on various variables but before the OLED is drawn with these values.
Depending on the IP query it might need a few msec settle delay after the message issuance.
