Custom EDID slots (1–10) and the EDID bank
Ten user slots plus 90 ready-made EDIDs for every common scenario.
What is it?
The Vertex² ships with a bank of 100 EDID tables: slots 1–10 are pre-filled custom tables you can overwrite (Default full no DV, LG DV, Vizio DV, Q9FN ALLM/VRR/HDR10+, Sony A1 LLDV DCI-P3, LG C7 DV, Vizio DV, LG C8 LLDV, Panasonic GZ960 HDR10+/DV, Sony A1 LLDV BT2020), and 11–100 are fixed combinations of resolution/chroma (4K60 4:4:4, 4K50, 4K60 4:2:0 12-bit, 4K30, 1080p…), HDR/BT.2020 and audio (All sound, S/PDIF, Stereo).
Why it matters with the HDfury Vertex²
Pick a table and you instantly force a source into a known format — e.g. 'EDID 13: 4K60 4:4:4 HDR BT2020 Stereo' makes an Apple TV send HDR video but only stereo audio to a soundbar. EDID 10 is the standard choice for Dolby Vision LLDV on projectors and Samsung TVs. You can also upload EDIDs from the HDfury EDID Collection on the Downloads page.
How to use it on the Vertex²
Web server → EDID → Custom → choose a table for Input 0–3 → it loads and resets hot-plug automatically. Upload: 'Upload EDID tables' → select .bin and slot → Send EDID. The full list is in the manual (List of Custom EDIDs).
