TMDS
The signalling method HDMI 2.0 uses; the Vertex² detects its clock to know a source is really active.
What is it?
TMDS (Transition-Minimized Differential Signaling) is how HDMI up to 2.0 transmits pixels over three data lanes plus a clock lane. The TMDS clock (up to 600 MHz) is what the '600 MHz' spec refers to. HDMI 2.1 replaces it with FRL for higher speeds.
Why it matters with the HDfury Vertex²
Because the HDfury Vertex² watches the TMDS clock of every input, it can tell whether a source is actually outputting video — not just powered — which is what lets it autoswitch Apple TV 4K, Xbox One X and Shield, devices that keep +5 V on even in standby. The OLED reports the TMDS clock in MHz for each signal.
How to use it on the Vertex²
Web server → CONFIG → Autoswitch 'On Sense' uses TMDS activity (advanced; 'On Power' uses +5 V and is recommended with CEC).
