IR control (IR sensor, IR RX and Pronto codes)
Control the Vertex² with any universal remote; codes are in Harmony and iRule.
What is it?
The Vertex² has a built-in IR sensor window plus a 3.5 mm 'IR RX' input for an external IR receiver (supplied) when the unit is hidden in a rack. Every function has an IR code in Pronto HEX format (NEC protocol); three code sets can be selected to avoid conflicts with other devices.
Why it matters with the HDfury Vertex²
Simple integration with any universal remote or IR-based control system: switch inputs, toggle EDID modes, force HDR, mute an output or reboot — the complete list ships with every firmware and is on the Downloads page, and HDfury Vertex² is a device in the Logitech Harmony database.
How to use it on the Vertex²
Point the remote at the front IR window or plug the IR receiver cable into IR RX. Web server → CONFIG → IR code set (1–3). Manual page 'IR Code List'.
